Hi! My name is Gelila, and I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, History, and Diaspora Studies. I specialize in tutoring students on the subjects of English and History! I have prior experience tutoring students from Grades 5-8, and most recently have tutored clients who are pursuing continuing education.   • Tutor ( 2017 - 2018 ) Building Roots

    Volunteered at a Drop In Tutoring Program at the John Innes Community Centre. Provided tutoring services to students from Grades 4-6 in English, History, and Math. Engaged with students by assessing areas of greater struggle, and working to tackle small areas of a subject.

  • English Tutor ( 2018 - 2018 ) Private Tutoring

    Provided in person tutoring support to an Eighth Grade student. Tracked progress by distributing weekly assignments, and helping with school assignments throughout the semester.
