About “Beatrice Adebisi”

I’m a Master’s Candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ry*erson University). I am currently doing research in the field of combustion, with focus on soot production in flames. I obtained my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018 with a minor in Industrial Design. During that time, I tutored students as a part of the Office of Minority Education and Development (OMED) tutoring program which offered free tutoring to marginalized students. I focus on mathematics and hard sciences, and I love helping students get that ‘Aha!’ moment when they figure out the answer to a problem.

I am also a poet and artist in my spare time and love to go on nature walks and lift at the gym.
